Warden-Commander Kira Surana stood on a low hill above the main campsite, looking up at the stars. Everything that had happened at Adamant seemed too much to take. It couldn’t have been real. But it was—she knew it was. Corypheus was free, and he was going to attempt to rip the Veil apart to reach what he had been denied in ancient times. And to advance the Calling within the Wardens... she was certain it was an attempt to get them out of the way so he could raise his Old God. Not Dumat—Dumat had been killed at the end of the First Blight—but there were still the two that remained. She didn’t look forward
“Kira!” Zevran rushed toward the young mage, stopping as she drove the sword into the archdemon’s head. “Does that hurt?” — Zevran and Myranda
“The great Hero of Ferelden, downed by an arrow in the knee,” Zevran chastised her teasingly before clicking his tongue in disapproval. “How shall you ever fight any more dragons? You shall be reduced to speaking of the things you used to do before you took…”
“First of all,” she interrupted, “it’s in my thigh, not my knee. Second of all, shut up and get it out.”
“As you command, dear Warden.” He knelt next to her to examine the wound, but couldn’t get a good look. “Braska! I can’t see,̶

“You hit your head and you’ve been out for two days.” — Alistair and Myranda
The darkness faded slowly, giving way to pain. A lot of pain. “Ow...”
“Easy,” a familiar, warm, lovely voice said. It was echoed and it hurt.
Alistair struggled against the darkness that was still swirling around him. “Myranda?” Even talking hurt.
“Yes, I’m here.” Her hand against his cheek was cool and calming. “I’m right here, my love.”
“Where am I?”
“You’re at Soldier’s Peak. Do you remember?

I hope you all have had a good holiday season and have a lovely New Year!
I think DA3 is coming out next year? I don't know, I've not seen a date, and I'm happy to wait as long as necessary for them to make it awesome! ;)
I want to thank ~MerlindaDragon (https://www.deviantart.com/merlindadragon) for joining our admin! You've been doing an awesome job and I appreciate your help! :highfive:
I've been going through the folders, making sure everything is in the right place and removing stored deviations. What do all of you think of the folder system? Does it make sense? If you think there should be any additional folders or that some should be combined or anything else, pl
A few days ago, we sent out a call for request artists, and lo and behold, they appeared! These lovely people are interested in fulfilling Dragon Age -related art requests, so if you ever wanted a portrait of your character, or OTP, or anything, approach these deviants! Take note of what they're willing to offer (some will also provide commissions, and some ONLY do commissions, so read carefully) and remember that a request is a REQUEST, so the artist ultimately decides if they want to take it up. So be nice ;)
