Most people don't remember when they woke up for the first time. I don't believe you remember when you first opened those eyes of yours to see the light of the world, just like I don't believe that you remember your first sentient thoughts. As for me, I have a pretty damn good picture of when I first woke up, and my first thoughts too.

Hairline fractures splintering into infinite veins
Creating divisions, real and imagined
A widening chasm

A crossroad of earth and sea, of wind and water, of everyone and no one
